Videos

I love making videos! They’re not too exciting, because they’re part of the courseware and technical documentation for software developers and systems engineers. How exciting can they be? But it’s still one of the more satisfying parts of my work. My videos are normally a combination of conceptual information and product demonstration, and I enjoy creating visual representations of complex concepts. I love a good challenge!.

This video is included in a lesson in an advanced database administration course as supplemental content. The lesson teaches learners how to migrate a database using a process called “a binary dump and load migration”. The lesson includes two videos that, together, demonstrate the entire process. This is the second video.

Note! This video was not created for YouTube. It has different dimensions than YouTube videos, which is why you see black bars on the sides.
